Backrest Heating Element

Backrest Heating Element

Removal

-

Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Upholstery ]. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seat Upholstery,
Covers/Seat Covers and Upholstery/Backrest Cover and Upholstery

Disconnect cover from upholstery. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover, Separating from Upholstery ] See: Description and Operation/Seat Covers and
Upholstery.

Cut the wire - 3 - from the old backrest heating element - 2 -.

‹› The old backrest heating element remains on the upholstery -  1 - and the new backrest heating element is bonded over it.

Installation

-

Center the new backrest heating element - 2 - on the cushion - 1 -.

-

Remove the protective film and apply the new backrest heating element to the upholstery and the old backrest heating element.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
