Remove the cowl panel trim back out of the luggage compartment liner retaining groove - arrow B -.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

To make it easier to press the cowl panel trim onto the edge strip, coat it with some soapy water.

CAUTION!
Danger of window breaking.

‹› Do not tap on the cowl panel trim when installing it. Press it into the edge strip carefully.

‹› Insert the washer between the spring nut and the trim.
