Brake Pedal

Removing

-

Remove drive side trim. 

-

Remove the Brake Pedal Switch (F47). Refer to => [ Brake Pedal Switch ] See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

Separate the brake pedal from brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Brake Pedal and
Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting.

-

Remove the nut - arrow -.

-

Remove the bolt from the bushing and brake pedal.

-

Remove brake pedal.

-

Remove the bushing.

Installing

‹› Installation is performed in reverse sequence.

CAUTION!
Make sure the bushing is inserted before assembling.

Connecting the Brake Pedal to the Brake Booster

Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head locates audibly.

Install the brake pedal switch. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal Switch ] See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

CAUTION!
Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.

Install the driver side storage compartment.
