Remove the second guide pin - 2 - from the brake caliper.

Press the brake piston back with the (T10145). 

‹› The brake pistons with the old pads still installed can pressed back to allow all brake pistons in the brake caliper to be pressed back evenly. 

‹› Before pressing the brake pistons back, extract brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle. Otherwise, especially if reservoir has been

topped off, fluid will overflow and cause damage.

Remove the trim in the front part of the luggage compartment to extract the brake fluid.

CAUTION!
Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER siphon brake fluid with your mouth!

Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper.

Clean the brake caliper housing.

‹› Clean brake caliper with mineral spirits exclusively.

Installing

-

Insert the brake pads.

CAUTION!
There are two brake pads installed per side. Only the inner top brake pad in the right brake caliper has a connection for the brake pad
wear indicator.

Slide the guide pins - 2 - into the brake caliper. 

-

Press the retaining spring - 3 - under the inserted guide pins.

-

Press the retaining spring down while sliding the second guide pins -  1 - into the brake caliper.

CAUTION!
After inserting the guide pins, press the retaining spring under the guide pins so the spring is under tension. If installed incorrectly, brake
