CAUTION!
Do not let any brake fluid run into the brake booster.
‹› Use new nuts.

Replace the seal between the brake master cylinder and brake booster.

When replacing the brake master cylinder, make sure the pressure rod in the brake booster is seated correctly.
-
Press the brake pedal down a little. This allows the brake master cylinder to be guided into the pressure rod more easily.

Use new nuts - 3 -. Follow the tightening specifications.

Install brake lines - 2 - on brake master cylinder. Follow the tightening specifications.

Install the brake fluid reservoir. Refer to => [ Brake Fluid Reservoir ] See: Brake Fluid Reservoir/Service and Repair.

With manual transmissions, insert the clutch hydraulic line in the brake fluid reservoir.

Fill the brake fluid up to the marking.

Bleed brake system. Refer to => [ Brake System, Bleeding ] See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Brake System, Bleeding.

With manual transmissions, bleed the clutch.
-
Install the luggage compartment liner in the front of the luggage compartment.

Initiate the brake pressure sensor basic setting with the (VAS 5051B) or (VAS 5052)

Perform ESP driving and system test.

J104- ABS/ASR/ESP Control Module, Functions
