Parking Brake Lever

‹› Applies to steel and ceramic brakes.

Removing

-

Release parking brake.

-

Remove center console trim. 

-

Turn the adjusting nut on the compensator - 4 - until the left and right of parking brake cable - 5 - can be disengaged from the compensator.

Remove parking brake switch - 2 -. Refer to => [ Parking Brake Switch ] See: Electric Parking Brake Switch/Service and Repair.

Remove the nuts - 3 -.

-

Remove the parking brake lever from the vehicle.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse sequence.

Install the parking brake switch. Refer to => [ Parking Brake Switch ] See: Electric Parking Brake Switch/Service and Repair.

Tension the parking brake cable - 5 - with the compensator adjusting nut - 4 -.
