Remove the bracket and ABS hydraulic unit from the vehicle.

‹› Place the bracket with the ABS hydraulic unit so no brake fluid can drain out.

Remove the brake fluid reservoir. Refer to => [ Brake Fluid Reservoir ] See: Hydraulic System/Brake Fluid Reservoir/Service and Repair.

Loosen the brake master cylinder at the nuts - 3 -. Refer to => [ Brake Master Cylinder ] See: Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service
and Repair/Brake Master Cylinder.

Remove the brake master cylinder from the vehicle.

Place the brake master cylinder so no brake fluid can drain out.

Remove the vacuum line from the brake booster.

-

Loosen the brake booster at the bolts - 1 -.

-

Carefully remove the brake booster from the guide and take it out of the vehicle.

‹› Make sure the boot does not come out of the groove.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse sequence.

‹› Use new nuts and bolts. Follow the tightening specifications.
