Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Oil Level Thermal Sensor

Removing

-

Install protective body covers. Refer to => [ Protective Body Covers, Installing ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove the air filter housing.

Disconnect the connector - 2 -.

Remove the bolts - arrows - and then remove the oil level thermal sensor (G266)- 1 - from the oil tank.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oil Tank Assembly Overview ] See: Oil Reservoir/Service and Repair/Oil Tank Assembly Overview. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace O-ring.

Install air filter housing.
