Run the hand vacuum pump to generate a vacuum.

‹› The intake flaps are opened.

Press the intake manifold lower section and fuel rail evenly onto the fuel injectors.

Remove the (VAS 6213) vacuum hose from the intake manifold runner control vacuum actuator.

Install the high pressure line. Refer to => [ High Pressure Line ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Supply
Line/Service and Repair.

Install the upper section of the intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold, Upper Section ] See: Intake Manifold, Upper Section.

‹› Check the vacuum system for leaks. Refer to => [ Vacuum System, Checking ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
