‹› If the evaporator gets stuck in the A/C unit because of the rubber seal around it, remove the dust and pollen filter if necessary to get a better hold
on the evaporator, refer to => [ Dust and Pollen Filter ] See: Cabin Air Filter/Service and Repair.
Installing
Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:
‹› There is refrigerant oil in the removed evaporator that must be returned to the refrigerant circuit.

Clean the evaporator installation shaft - B - in the A/C unit.

Before installing the evaporator, check the water drain hose openings - A - (at the left and right in the A/C unit) for dirt and clean them if
necessary.

Make sure the surrounding rubber seal - B - and plastic frame - C - are present.
‹› Disregard - items D, E and F -.

Lightly coat the rubber seal on the top and bottom of the evaporator with lubricant (such as soapy water).
