Carefully install the evaporator in the A/C unit shaft.
‹› The evaporator connections must not be damaged when doing so.
‹› The evaporator connecting flange must sit flush with the A/C unit housing.

Remove the upper mounting tab - A - along the cover surface - arrow -.

Fill the groove - B - in the service cover - C - with Silicone Sealant (D 176 001 A3).
‹› The replacement service cover - A - comes with 7 screws.
‹› If the A/C unit/service cover connection is not sealed, condensed water may enter the footwell from the A/C unit, such as when driving around
curves.

Position the service cover - A - on the A/C unit evaporator shaft - B -.
