Remove the respective control motor, refer to=> [ Air Intake Unit Electrical Components and Connecting Elements ].

Insert the (T40072) - A - in the openings - E - on the connecting element - C - as shown in the illustration.

‹› The (T40072) - A - is inserted at different depths for the different versions of the connecting elements -  C -.

Press the (T40072) toward the connecting element -  C - and release the retainers - D - by turning the wheel - B - in the - direction of the arrow -.

Remove the connecting element - C - from the A/C unit.

Installing

-

Coat the bearing area - A - of the connecting element -  C - in the A/C with Lubricant (G 000 150). 

‹› The illustration shows the instrument panel vent door.

-

Check the position of the door - E - in the A/C unit, making sure the door sits correctly in the second bearing area.

-

Check the retaining tabs - D - on the connecting piece - C - for damage.
