Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair
Reservoir Refrigerant Lines
Reservoir Refrigerant Lines
Removing
-
Discharge refrigerant circuit.
-
Remove the left rear wheel housing.
-
Remove bolts - C -.
-
Remove the refrigerant lines - B and D - from the reservoir - F -.
‹› Seal open line connections with suitable sealing caps (to prevent dirt and moisture from entering).
Installing
Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

Replace O-ring seals - A and E -.
‹› Coat the O-ring with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to => [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Rings ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Refrigerant
Circuit O-Rings.
‹› Make sure the O-ring seals - H - (different versions) are seated correctly in the groove - arrow - on the respective refrigerant line.
‹› Connection at reservoir can be marked with IN (from evaporator) and OUT (to A/C compressor).
‹› After securing the refrigerant lines on the reservoir, check their routing. They must be secured in their bracket and must not come into contact with
other components.

Clean the reservoir contact surface - F -.

Check the refrigerant line connections - G - for damage and make sure they are seated properly.
