Left Instrument Panel Vent

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removal

-

Remove the left upper A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Upper A-pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Interior Trim.

Using a screwdriver, raise the corner of the upper instrument panel vent slightly and release it with the (3409).

-

Using the (3409), unclip the top of the instrument panel vent first - arrows -.

-

Unclip the bottom of the instrument panel vent - arrow - and remove it from the instrument panel.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

When sliding the instrument panel vent into the panel, make sure the air duct engages correctly.

Press the instrument panel vent into the installation opening as far as the stop.
