‹› Bleed the steering. Refer to => [ Steering System, Bleeding after Replacing ] See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power

Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair. 

‹› Check hydraulic fluid level. Refer to => [ Power Steering, Checking Fluid Level ] See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and

Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Power Steering, Checking Fluid Level.

‹› Steering system, checking for leaks => [ Steering System, Checking for Leaks ] See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and

Cap with Dip Stick

‹› From the reservoir to the power steering pump.

‹› Tension with the hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1275) or locking pliers (VAS 6199).

‹› Always replace after removal.
