Remove the secondary air hose - 4 - by pressing the release buttons.

‹› The illustration shows the left secondary air combination valve.

‹› For better accessibility, remove the hose in the R8 Spyder at the secondary air injection pump instead of the combination valve.

‹› Ignore - 1, 3 and 5 -.

Connect the (VAS 6213) to the vacuum connection -  1 - on the secondary air combination valve that will be tested.

Connect a suitable assisting hose to the secondary air combination valve - 2 -.

Blow lightly into the assisting hose by mouth, do not use compressed air.

‹› Secondary air injection combination valve must be closed, it must not be possible to flush.

Run the hand vacuum pump to generate a vacuum.
