Removing

Conditions.

CAUTION!
Risk of destroying electrical components when battery is disconnected. 

‹› Observe measures when disconnecting battery.

With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable - arrow -.

Install protective body covers. Refer to => [ Using Protective Body Covers ] See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Using Protective
Body Covers.

Remove the left engine compartment trim - 1 -. 

-

Disconnect the left engine control module from the bracket -  arrows - and lay it to the side.
