Removing

Remove the shifter cover.

Remove center console cover pane.

Remove selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle, R Tronic ] See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter M/T/Service and
Repair/Removal and Installation/Selector Lever Handle, R Tronic.

Carefully release the five retaining tabs - arrows - on the shift mechanism cover and remove the cover upward.
