with the Driver Thorax Airbag Igniter N199 or Front Passenger Thorax Airbag Igniter N200

Removal

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Follow the disposal regulations for pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Airbag, Belt Tensioner and Battery Cut-Out Units, Storage,

Transporting and Disposal ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnical components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling them must "discharge

static electricity ". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

Remove seat:

‹› Manual seats, refer to => [ Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Manual Seats.

‹› Power seat, refer to => [ Seat ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Seats.

Secure the seat on the (VAS 6136), refer to => [ Installing Seat On VAS 6136 ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Installing Seat on VAS 6136.

Remove backrest:

‹› Power seat, refer to => [ Backrest ] See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Seats.
