Removing

Remove the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.
‹› Fuel level sensor (G) is shown without fuel tank to provide a better illustration.

Reach into the fuel tank and remove the fuel level sensor by pressing locking tabs at the same time - 1 - and - 2 - out of the baffle house guide -
arrow -.
‹› When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm of fuel level sensor.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
‹› When removing, be sure not to bend floater arm on the fuel level sensor

Install the fuel level sensor into the guide on the outside of the baffle housing and press it down until it audibly clicks.

Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel
Delivery Unit, connect battery and observe the safety precautions after connecting the battery.

Check the fuel tank for leaks. Refer to => [ Fuel Tank System, Checking for Leaks ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
