Camshaft Position Sensors

Removing

‹› The following procedure describes removal and installation on the left cylinder bank 2.

‹› During installation, re-install all heat insulation sleeves at the same locations.

Camshaft Position Sensor, Exhaust Camshaft

‹› Engine removed.

-

Remove the exhaust manifold. 

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and the heat shield -  1 -.

-

Remove the heat shield boot.

-

Disconnect the connector - 2 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 1 - and the camshaft position sensor.

Install the protective body covers. Refer to => [ Protective Body Covers, Installing ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
