To loosen or tighten the lock nut - B -, counterhold at the tie rod - C - with a wrench.

Loosen lock nut - B -.

Adjust toe on left and right-hand wheels with hex - C -.
‹› Make sure that boot on steering gear is not damaged or twisted. Twisted boots wear out quickly.

Tighten the lock bolt - B -. Refer to => [ Power Steering Gear ] See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power
Steering Gear.
After tightening lock nut - B - it is possible that the value deviates slightly.
If the measured toe nevertheless lies within the tolerance, the adjustment is correct.

After tightening the nut - B -, check camber value again. Refer to => [ Vehicle Alignment Specified Values, All Wheel Drive ] See: Specifications.
‹› If adjustments have been made on the front axle, perform a zero adjustment on the steering angle sensor (G85) using the Vehicle Diagnostic,
Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).
