Remove the rear crossmember.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Upper Longitudinal Member and Rear Crossmember Assembly Overview ] .

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Install the rear spoiler => [ Rear Spoiler ] See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Spoiler/Service and Repair/Rear Spoiler.

Install the engine compartment lid lock => [ Engine Compartment Lid Lock ] See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk /
Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Latch/Service and Repair/Engine Compartment Lid Lock.

Install the left and right engine compartment trim => [ Left and Right Engine Compartment Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Access Cover/Service
and Repair/Left and Right Engine Compartment Trim.
