On vehicles with electronically-controlled damping (Audi magnetic ride), connect the connector - 2 -.

Pre-tighten the threaded connection - 1 - to 8 Nm. 

‹› When tightening threaded connection - 1 -, the vehicle must be resting on its wheels (e.g., vehicle alignment platform, scissor lift platform)

Tighten the threaded connection - 1 -.

On vehicles with electronically-controlled damping (Audi magnetic ride), reprogram the control position using the (VAS 5051B).

Install wheel housing liner.

Install wheel.

Axle alignment is required, see table. Refer to => [ When Vehicle Alignment is Necessary ] See: Alignment/Description and Operation.
