Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

‹› Bonded rubber bearings can only be turned to a limited extent. Only tighten suspension bolts when vehicle is in curb weight or control position.

Insert the bolt - 2 - and install the nut -  1 - loosely.

On vehicles with electronically-controlled damping (Audi magnetic ride), connect the connector - 3 - to the suspension strut -  4 -.

-

Insert the bolt - 3 - and pre-tighten the nut -  1 - to 8 Nm.

Tighten the nut - 1 -.
