Affected Vehicles

Condition

^ Squeaking or rattling noises from the front axle when driving slowly over uneven roads.

^ After lifting the vehicle, the noise temporarily stops.

^ Only the R8 V10 with Magnetic Ride is affected.

Technical Background

The shock absorber protective pipe may be crooked or not aligned with the shock absorber tube. In some cases, contact is apparent by marks on the top
