Removing

‹› Transmission removed.

Remove the clutch slave cylinder with release bearing. Refer to => [ Clutch Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing, Manual Transmission ] See:

Carefully pry the shaft seal out with a screwdriver.

Installing

-

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1).

-

Lightly oil outer circumference of new shaft seal.

-

Drive in shaft seal as far as stop with Thrust Piece (T10174).
