Disconnect the electrical connectors - 1 - on the Gear Recognition Sensor (G604).

Remove the bolts - 2 - and the Gear Recognition Sensor (G604) - 2 -.

Installing

‹› Replace O-ring.

‹› If the Gear Recognition Sensor (G604) with gold contacts is being replaced by a sensor with gold contacts, then the cable set for the sensor must

be replaced with the Adapter Wire Set (420 971 164). Refer to => [ Adapter Wire Sets, Gear Recognition Sensor 2 and Gear Recognition Sensor,
