Right Flange Shaft Seal

Right Flange Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Thrust Piece (T40007)

Procedure

-

Remove right flange shaft. Refer to => [ Right Flange Shaft ] See: Output Yoke/Flange/Service and Repair/Removal and Installation/Right Flange
Shaft.

Measure the installation depth of the current shaft seal to the outer edge of the final drive cover with a depth gauge and make a note of dimension -
a -.

-

Pry shaft seal out.

-

Lightly oil outer circumference of new shaft seal.

-

Press the new shaft seal in up to the dimension "a" that was measured using the Thrust Piece (T40007), measuring at several places on the
circumference.
