Final Drive Cover with Right Flange Shaft

Removing

-

Remove the air filter housing. 

-

Remove the right drive axle heat shield => [ (Item 6) Heat shield ] See: Output Yoke/Flange/Service and Repair/Description and Operation/Shaft
Seal and Right Flange Shaft Assembly Overview.

Remove the catalytic converter bracket => [ (Item 8) Exhaust manifold with catalytic converter bracket ] See: Output Yoke/Flange/Service and
Repair/Description and Operation/Shaft Seal and Right Flange Shaft Assembly Overview.

Removing right drive axle.

Place the Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782) underneath and drain the transmission fluid -  1 -.
