Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1275)

Removing

-

Remove headlamp. Refer to => [ HID Headlamp Housing ] See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/HID Headlamp Housing. 

‹› To protect the cover grille, lay a cloth below and hold the spray nozzle securely with pliers.

Pull spray nozzle telescope out of bumper cover as far as stop. 

‹› Hold telescope in extended position with pliers.

Spread side walls on cover - 1 - for spray jet -  arrows - and carefully disengage cover side walls from retaining pins -  2 -.

Remove the washer fluid hose - 1 - from the spray nozzle - 2 -.
