Washer Fluid Line, Repairing

Smooth Line

‹› Smooth lines with a diameter of 5 x 1 mm or 6 x 1 mm can be replaced with an Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM).

-

Trim and remove the damaged sections of line.

-

Select the appropriate EPDM line - 2 - and cable tie.

-

Cut a length of EPDM line - 2 - so that the ends of the smooth lines - 1 and 2 - can be pushed approximately 10 mm into the EPDM line - 2 -.

-

Secure with the cable ties - 1 - as illustrated. 

-

Check for function and leaks.

Corrugated Line

‹› Corrugated lines can be replaced with heat shrink sleeves.
