Hydraulic Cylinder, Removing And Installing

Hydraulic lines, removing and installing.

Bracket drive motor cylinder

-

Remove bracket hydraulic cylinder - 1 - from ball sockets - 2 -.

-

Unclip hydraulic lines from brackets - 3 - (Qty. 6) and loosen cable ties - 4 - (Qty. 2).

Remove hydraulic lines and cylinders from convertible top frame and place them in convertible top compartment.

Convertible top compartment cover cylinder

NOTE:  The convertible top compartment cover cylinder is installed as described above.

Main drive cylinder

-

Remove convertible top switch unit bolts - 1 -. The switch unit consists of Convertible Top Closed Position Switch F202 and Convertible Top
Open Position Switch F171.

-

Carefully remove convertible top switch unit from bolting point mounts.

-

Remove main hydraulic cylinder securing pins - 2 -.

-

Loosen nuts on main hydraulic cylinder bracket until they are removed from the center and can be stored in the vehicle.

-

Installation is reverse of removal.
