Slightly lift up the locating lug on the lower part of the connector -  2 - and turn 90 degrees.

Pull the lower part of the connector out of the holder.

Use a screwdriver to pry off the brake pad retaining spring from the brake caliper housing and remove.

-

Unscrew and remove both guide pins from the brake caliper.

-

Remove the brake caliper housing and lay to one side so that the weight of the brake caliper does not stress or damage the brake hose.

-

Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper housing and/or brake carrier.

Installing

-

Press the piston back into the caliper housing.
