Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair

Parking Brake Cables

Removing

-

Remove the center console extension.

-

Remove the wheels and tires.

-

Detach the underside panel on the left and right rear and unclip the parking brake cables.

-

Detach the underside panel (left side) approximately 8 bolts.

-

Detach the inner underside panel at exhaust pipe.

-

Detach the rear exhaust pipe.

-

Pull out the retaining clip - 1 - and unhook the parking brake cables at the brake caliper.

‹› Do not damage the parking brake boot when removing and installing.

Unclip the brake line - 2 - from the retainer -  3 -.

Unclip the parking brake cables - 1 - from the fuel tank (clip) - 2 -.
