Repeat the previous steps for the second shear bolt.

Remove the protective housing from the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 (J624).
‹› Adaptation values are erased when the connectors are disconnected from the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 (J624), DTC memory content
remains intact.

Disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 (J624).
Installing
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

The ECM must be installed with the protective housing.

Use new shear bolts.

Remove a thread compound from the threaded holes with a thread cutter (tap) to allow for new shear bolt installation.
After installing a new Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 (J624), the following work steps must be performed:

Activate the Engine Control Module (ECM) 2 (J624 ).
