Release cable retainer - 2 - in direction of arrow by prying out at cut-out - 3 -.

The illustration shows the released cable retainer - 2 -.

Remove cable - 4 - for belt fasten sensor from sockets 5 and 6 and on the driver's side (in certain countries), the cable -  4 - for the switch in safety
belt latch socket 1 and 2 as well.

Open cable ties.

Seat Belt Tensioner/Service Precautions

‹› Seat belt inspection, refer to => [ Seat Belts, Inspecting ] See: Repairs and Inspections Required After a Collision/Service and

Repair/Seat Belts, Inspecting. 

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

Replace the bolt on the safety belt latch.

Removing

If present, disconnect connector - 1 - under seat equipment versions.
