Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.

Rotate buttons - 1 - inward (to steering wheel center point) and remove.

Installing

Install in reverse order.

-

Ensure all connections have engaged and lines lie in corresponding guides.

Removing

In vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526)=> [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] See:
Global Positioning System/Service and Repair/Procedures service mode.

Disconnect battery ground wire.

-

Follow safety precautions for airbag systems.

-

Remove driver's airbag. Removal and Installation. 

-

Pull off decorative ring from steering wheel.

-

Slide multi-function button - 2 - out of steering wheel in direction of arrow.

-

Turn the button around.
