Hood Latch Release Cable: Service and Repair

1 - Hood lock cable
‹› Removing:
‹› Raise vehicle.
‹› Remove front wheel housing liner.
‹› Remove driver's side storage compartment.
‹› Remove bolt.
‹› Remove retaining clamp - 4 -.
‹› Unclip cable for lower part of hood lock and disengage attachment lug arrow - A -.
‹› Remove cable - 1 - from retaining clips - opened earlier and pull into wheel housing toward lock carrier.
‹› Installing:
‹› Install in reverse order of removal.
‹› Bring ball on cable for lower part of hood lock into installation position.
