Hood cable

‹› Removing:

-

Remove front wheel housing liner => [ Front Wheel housing Liner ] See: Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Service and Repair.

-

Remove storage compartment on driver's side (vehicles with knee bolster): 

-

Remove bolt => [ (Item 3) Screw ].

-

Remove retaining clip => [ (Item 4) Retaining clamp ].

-

Unclip cable for lower part of hood lock and disengage attachment lug - arrow A -.

-

Remove cable => [ (Item 1) Hood cable ] from retaining clips => [ (Item 6) Retaining clip ] opened earlier and pull into wheel housing toward 
lock carrier.

‹› Install in reverse sequence.

‹› Bring ball on cable for lower part of hood lock into installation position.
