Installing

The surface of the piston and seal should be cleaned using only methylated spirits and then dried.

Apply a thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to the piston and seal before inserting.

Insert the O-ring into the brake caliper housing.

Place the protective cap with the outer sealing lip on the piston.

Using trim removal wedge (3409), insert the inner sealing lip into the cylinder groove.

‹› When doing this, hold the piston in front of the caliper housing.

Screw the piston in by turning the knurled wheel clockwise.
