Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 24 number 09-05 dated March 23, 2009 for reasons listed below.
Affected Vehicles
Condition
^ EPC light on.
^ RS4 sedan only: Engine number is BNS 013153 or higher.
^ The following DTCs logged in the ECM memory:
^
P2004 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 1 Stuck Open.
^
P2005 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 2 Stuck Open.
^
P2006 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 1 Stuck Closed.
^
P2007 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Bank 2 Stuck Closed.
These DTCs will not cause any drivability or stalling issues.
Technical Background
The cause is the software of the ECM.

Improved software for the ECM.
