Open yellow retainer on yellow-blue connector - 9 - with a screwdriver and disconnect connector.

‹› Installing:

-

Install belt webbing rotated by 180° - arrow - -as shown in illustration-.

-

Arrow - A - faces in direction of travel.

-

Ensure connector - 9 - is engaged correctly.

-

Remaining installation is in reversed sequence.

‹› After installing passenger side three-point seatbelt, check belt function for child seat. Refer to => [ Child Seat Anchorage, Checking Function ]

‹› The three-point seat belt must not be impeded by cables, wires, insulation, etc.

‹› Follow measures after connecting battery.

‹› Tightening specification 55 Nm

Belt Height Adjustment

‹› Removal:

-

Remove upper B-pillar trim - 5 -. Refer to => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Trim.

-

Remove bolt - 7 - and bolt - 8 -. 

-

Remove belt height adjuster - 6 - upward.

‹› Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

‹› Button - 10 - must not be pressed during installation. 

‹› Function test after installing trim:

‹› Height adjuster must audibly engage into all five possible positions (even top position).

‹› Button must return by itself to upper position after being actuated.

‹› Tightening specification 55 Nm

‹› Belt relay must swing by itself in carrier direction after tightening screw.
