If present, remove cable from clip - 2 - equipment versions.

Remove the bolt - 3 -.

-

Remove safety belt latch - 4 -.

Installing

CAUTION!
Replace the passenger occupant detection system safety belt latch each time the passenger belt tensioner deploys.

‹› Seat belt inspection, refer to => [ Seat Belts, Inspecting ] See: Repairs and Inspections Required After a Collision/Service and

Repair/Seat Belts, Inspecting. 

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

Replace the bolt on the safety belt latch.

‹› If the passenger occupant detection system safety belt latch is replaced, fill out the system registration sheet with the serial number and bar code

label from the new safety belt latch and send it to the importer.
