Tailgate Hinge, Removing And Installing

Disassemble rear roof trim.

-

Remove screws - 1 - and remove cover - 2 - for hinge - 3 -.
Tightening torque: 3 Nm +0/-1 Nm (27 in.lb +0/-9 in.lb).
When installing, the cover must first be centered in the notches (arrow) up in the roof flange.

Remove nut - 4 -.

-

Remove bolts - 1 - and hinge - 2 -.

-

Replace seal - 3 -.
