Connect voltage tester VAG 1527 B as follows:

LED should light up.

If LED does not light up:
-

Test for open circuit in wiring from contact 2 of connector to Coolant Circulation Pump Relay -J151 - according to wiring diagram.

Eliminate open circuit in wiring (refer to wiring diagram).

If no wiring fault is detected:
-

Check Coolant Circulation Pump Relay -J151-.

If LED lights up:
-

Replace After-Run Coolant Pump N51 -.

Install in reverse sequence; note following points:
-

Install air filter housing.
