Affected Vehicles

Condition

^ MIL on.

^ Engine has low performance without significant loss of power or stalling.

Technical Background

DTCs related to the Mass Air Flow Sensor and fuel trim faults can be related to (but not limited to) the following conditions:

^ False intake air, or air filter element very dirty.

^ Fuel pressure too low.

^ Mass Air Flow Sensor fault. Possible fault entries associated with this condition:

DTC 16485 (P0101 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance).

^

DTC 16486 (P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ. Low Input).

^

DTC 16487 (P0103 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circ. High Input).

^

DTC 16496 (P0112 Intake Air Temp.Circ. Low Input).

^

DTC 16497 (P0113 Intake Air Temp.Circ. High Input).
