Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

Vibration damper, removing and installing 

Removing

Lock carrier to service position, Refer to Body and Frame

Ribbed belt, Refer to drive belt, Service and Repair.

Loosen 8 securing bolts -1- and remove vibration damper on crankshaft.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence; note following points:

-

When installing, ensure that notch (arrow) in vibration damper is aligned with locating lug on toothed belt sprocket.

Tightening torque
