Oil Filter Bracket With Oil Cooler, Removing and Installing

Oil filter bracket with oil cooler, removing and installing 

Special tools and equipment

Drip tray

Removing 

-

Remove engine.

-

Remove right front exhaust pipe.

-

Remove right exhaust manifold.

-

Remove coolant pipe going to oil filter bracket.

-

Place a drip tray underneath.

-

Remove oil filter.

-

Take out bolts -1- to -5- and remove oil filter bracket with oil cooler from cylinder block.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence; note following points-

Note:  Replace seals and O-rings.

-

Make sure dowel sleeves are seated when installing.

-

Install center pipe -item 22.

-

Tighten oil filter bracket bolts -1- to -5- alternately and diagonally.

-

Install coolant pipe going to oil filter bracket.
