Oil Pan: Service and Repair
Lower Section of Sump, Removing and Installing

Lower section of sump, removing and installing

Auxiliary material required 
^

Drip tray

^

Electric drill with plastic brush attachment

^

Protective goggles

^

Silicone sealant, Refer to Parts Supplier.

Removing 

-

Release fasteners -1- to -4- and take off noise insulation.

-

Place a drip tray underneath.

-

Drain engine oil.

-

Unplug electrical connector at Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- -item 1-.

-

Unbolt lower section of sump (arrow).

Installing 

Note:  Replace seals.

-

Remove sealant remaining on lower and upper sections of sump (with rotating plastic brush or similar).
